The Council of the Eurasian Women’s Forum approved a new project at a meeting on 17 December 2021.
The project is called ‘Women’s Cooperation in Global Trade’ and was presented by Russian Export Centre General Director Veronika Nikishina.
The project’s main goal is to increase the involvement of women entrepreneurs in export activities by 2030 by creating a system of incentives and promotion as well as favourable conditions for women exporters to enter foreign markets.
Nikishina, who is coordinating the project, spoke about plans to develop the project. A competition format will be used to promote the project and draw attention to successful women exporters. In particular, she proposed establishing the category of ‘Woman Exporter’ as part of the ‘Exporter of the Year’ national competition and holding a regional competition called ‘Iron Woman’ to boost motivation and provide encouragement for women leaders at export support centres in the regions. A series of online events will also be held to stimulate export activities.
Details about the project are available at ‘Women’s Cooperation in Global Trade’
